Story Starters

Students:

• You will receive a story starter prompt.
• Work in pairs or small groups to discuss and develop the story together.
• Use simple language and add creative details.
• After finishing, regroup with a new pair or group and share your story with them.

Teacher:

• Assign students to work in pairs or small groups.
• Set a time limit of 5-7 minutes for students to discuss and build their story together.
• Once the time is up, have students regroup and share their stories with another pair or group.
• Encourage creative thinking and guide students with vocabulary if needed.
