How to use:

Offline:

• Print out the cards with pairs of photos for each student/pair or the whole group. 
• Distribute the cards to students or place them around the classroom for a gallery walk.
• Ask students to observe each pair of photos and think about the actions shown.
• Encourage them to use the appropriate tenses to describe the usual activity and the alternative action for the day.

Online:

• Share your screen to display each pair of photos to the students.
• Alternatively, send the images to students in advance or through a chat function during the session.
• Students can work individually/ in pairs/ as the whole group. Utilize breakout rooms for smaller group discussions or encourage students to share their sentences in the main virtual classroom.
• Similar to the offline version, ask students to describe the activities in the photos using the correct tenses.
• Engage in a group discussion about the sentence structures and verb tenses used.
