My Typical Day

Individual work
The teacher assigns one or more cards to each student.
The student reads the card and thinks about what they usually do during that time of day or situation. They prepare 3–4 sentences describing their typical routine.
The teacher can model a sample answer before the activity.
For example: A typical morning — "I usually wake up at seven. First, I have a shower and then I make coffee. After that, I check my phone and leave home at eight."

Pair / Group work (including breakout rooms)
The teacher assigns one or more cards to each pair or group.
Each student reads their card and shares their routine with a partner.
Their partner listens and discusses:
- Is their routine similar or different?
- What do they do the same?
- What do they do differently?
- What is the most surprising thing about their partner's day?

Then they swap cards and repeat with a new situation.

Class sharing
Invite some students or groups to share their most interesting routines with the class.

The students can discuss:
- whose morning routine is the most unusual
- which situation was the most difficult to describe
- whether different students do similar things in the same situation
- what they learned about their classmates
- which situation from the cards is closest to their real life.
